More shows get canceled!
Thursday, February 21st, 2008 by Albert ChingWith all the news rolling in about shows coming back post-strike, it only fits that to achieve balance in the force, shows have to go away. We already talked earlier today about the apparent cancellation of “K-Ville.”
Sorry, “Las Vegas” fans (and yes, there are “Las Vegas” fans. I’ve met them. I’ve even worked with them!). TV Guide’s ever-effervescent columnist Michael Ausiello is reporting that NBC has axed the show after five seasons. Tom Selleck apparently isn’t the draw that James Caan was. The most exciting part about this is the potential for headlines - “‘Las Vegas’ rolls snake eyes,” “”Las Vegas’ craps out,” “‘Las Vegas’ loses its shirt,” “‘Las Vegas’ the television program and not the actual city is canceled by NBC,” etc.
Also from TV Guide : It looks like “Moonlight,” the CBS vampire series about a good vampire with a soul that fights crime (never seen that one before! ) is probably dead as well. And this time, it won’t be rising from the grave! Ahahaha. Right. Like a vampire.
