8 p.m., NBC

Tonight (8 p.m. NBC) is the strike-shortened (although reports say that may no longer be a problem soon) second season finale of “Friday Night Lights.” And of course, knowing what we all know about “Friday Night Lights” and the kind of ratings the show gets, this just might be the series finale as well. When no less a source than Ben Silverman, entertainment head of NBC, is doubtful that it’ll stick around , that’s probably a pretty clear sign. There is talk, though, that the overwhelmingly critically-adored series may show up on NBC family cable channels USA or Bravo.

Flash Gordon
9 p.m., Sci Fi

The first season finale of Sci Fi’s contemporary take on “Flash Gordon,” which is sort of like their contermporary take on “Battlestar Galactica,” except without the acclaim, legions of fans and status as pop culture icon.

Las Vegas
9 p.m., NBC

Terry Bradshaw, stretching his acting wings even further after “Failure To Launch,” guest stars as a suspiciously successful gambler. (more…)
